Tower

A macOS menu bar app that shows where every AI coding account stands and which one has room.

SwiftSwiftUIMCP

Problem

People who run several AI coding subscriptions have no single place to see how much room each account has left.

Solution

Tower reads usage for each signed-in Claude Code account, adds Codex and Cursor plans beside them, and says which seat to switch to. A built-in MCP server (tower mcp) lets agents ask the same question. Ask your agent: tower_room (which account has room), tower_advice (stay or switch), tower_resets (when the weekly window resets), tower_freshness (how fresh each reading is), tower_rotate (rotation plan), tower_panelshot (show the panel). Register in Claude Code: claude mcp add --scope user tower -- ~/.local/bin/tower mcp. Check with: tower mcp --self-test. Tower does not log in or switch accounts, and sends nothing off your Mac except the providers' own usage calls.

Results

  • An MCP server (tower mcp) your agents ask which account has room
  • Usage per window, room left and next reset for every account
  • Advice on which seat to switch to
  • Open source, MIT, v0.1.0
